Star Lubricants wins Circle of Excellence - 2017

For the third year in a row Star Lubricants has been named winner of ExxonMobil Circle of Excellence in the "Business Performance" section and for the first time ever, winner of the "Best Operations / Customer Service Initiative". The Circle of Excellence is a yearly competition which evaluates in detail all performance aspects of ExxonMobil's partner companies.

With over two decades on the Romanian market, Star Lubricants has distinguished itself through innovative initiatives and programs designed to meet customer needs in even the most challenging market segments. Our company has been chosen as the winner after a fierce competition involving all ExxonMobil partner companies in Europe.

For the first time in the history of the contest, we have entered into direct competition with all lubricants distributors from 27 European countries. The award honors us in a very special way given that many of these companies have a tradition of over 50 years in the field of lubrication. We would like to congratulate on this occasion the second and third place winners - Thommen Furler from Switzerland and Ingelbeen Soete from Belgium.

The "Best Operation / Customer Service Initiative" section of the same contest brought us once again on the top step of the podium. The award was received for designing and implementing a program meant to increase the efficiency and quality of the customer service and of the logistics operations.

We care about the quality of our customer service. Our company owns and operates its own national distribution network, including warehousing and transport services. We rely on our own capacity - seven work points and 15 commercial vehicles - to ensure the integrity of the products from the plant all the way to the final customer. As a result, the value of the company's assets is one of the largest in our business segments.

For us, both these distinctions honor us greatly and offer recognition of our strategy, initiatives, as well as of the work of our entire team. Finally, and most importantly, these achievements would not have been possible without the good cooperation of our partners across the country, that always provoke us to excel and reach the highest levels of performance.
